Once again another Graduation is with us. It has
become traditional at this time to stop and think, not
only of the past years spent here at Everett Vocational
High School, but of what lies just before us. For some there
is a feeling of mixed emotions - -glad to have finished
our formal and specialized training, and also sorry to
leave friends and environments that have meant so much
in the past few years.

But we look forward to the future, for a new horizon
lies before us. With it, we hope will come the continued
pleasures and satisfaction of working, achieving, and the
realization of a task well done.

STUDENT GOVERNMENT DAY

STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE HUGO SCARPELLINI

I enjoyed being your representative at the annual Student Government
Day. I was given an opportunity of not only taking an active part in our
government, but I was given an even greater chance of learning how our
Government functions.

During the day, I met with departmental heads and I was an interested
aroup member at legislative committee hearings. Although the day was
educational in nature, I made many social contacts which are essential
in the well rounded life of a legislator.

I wish to thank all of my classmates for electing me.
